Online visa for Saudis to visit India within 24 hours,Visa E-mail will be available.

Riyadh:  E-Visa has come into force, for the Saudi Citizens who wish to visit India with much convenience as an end for their waiting.

The online registration has been set up for Tourist Visa, Medical Visa, Business Visa, Conference Visa and Medical Assistant Visa. Accordingly, Visa can be obtained immediately by applying from home online.

Visa can be applied through the Website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in The application can be filled online with the required personal data and online payment can be made. After complying with the necessary formalities, the Visa will be received in the registered Email within 24 Hours. The passport will be stamped accordingly by the Immigration Department in India, in Indian Airports, after showing the print of the Visa obtained online. The Biometric Data will be collected in Indian Airports.

Previously, visa had been obtained only after completion of all formalities and biometric details had to be given in Embassy / Consulate.

This process of E-Visa has been taken initiative, after his visit during last February, the Saudi Prince Muhammad Bin Salman informed the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the issues. E-Visa is in force for 132 countries including the Gulf Countries Oman, Qatar and UAE. The Saudis have welcomed the initiative for the E-Visa. The Indian companies operating in Tourism see this move as a very good initiative. They opined that this will be a new energy for the Tourism and concerned activities.
