Riyadh: Kerala 's own Ambassador, Indian Embassy Welfare Consular, Mr. Anil Nautiyal's subsequent service will be in London, after completion of his three years of service in Indian Embassy. Joined on the Indian Independence Day, on August 15, 2015, in Indian Embassy in Riyadh, he will be leaving with the new mission after attending the Republic Day Celebrations of India on January 26, 2019.

He strongly involved in the problems of Indians and especially in the matters of malayalis. He has been speaking to all with smile always on his humbleness made him lovable person for all.
When the Officers working in foreign service, they choose a position to be an Ambassador of a state in India. Usually, all officers choose their home state for this, Mr. Anil Nautiyal, being a non Keralite, from Nainital, the Capital of Utharakhand, wished to be the Brand Ambassador of Kerala and chosen the same. Many times he visited Trivandrum and Cochin and traveled and knew and learned more about Kerala from his colleagues and the Social Activists in Kerala. And, he is too much lovable officer for Keralites. He told, in last September, when he visited Kerala, had meetings with the Governor and Ministers, and he explained that he was the Brand Ambassador of Kerala, it was a surprise for the Governor. Though, now his posting is in London, he said, wherever he is in the world, he loves Kerala too much and will be the Brand Ambassador of Kerala.
His first foreign service started in 1987, in Bangladesh. For fifteen years he worked in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. For two occasions, he worked in Saudi, for a duration of more than six years. During 2004-07 he worked in Riyadh. Then he served in Qatar Embassy. He interacted more with Keralites during his service in Saudi and Qatar and in these occasions, he got opportunities to work with Keralites, which made him close with Keralites and he said he would always remember the love and cooperation of Keralites forever with great gratitude. His contributions in the Kerala Pavilion, were great in the Janadhriya Festival, during the last year. All Keralites remember his contributions as Brand Ambassador of Kerala, with gratitude, with his continuous participation from the beginning to the end, for making the celebration very noticeable. He told the, services of Riyadh Embassy are absolutely transparent and attemps are promptly made to listen and solve the complaints. He always takes care of complaints which needed the attention of ambassador, without any delays. He has done noticeable service during the amnesty period.
Presently there are 2.7 Million Indians in Saudi. During the amnesty period, 76,000 Indians went on exit. Emergency certificates have been given to 32,000 people. He told the death rate of Indians is in ratio with the population.
He also told that, the volunteers brought to his notice that, the authorisation letter given to volunteers to attend the same only case, made difficulties, especially when the volunteers are from far away. Those complaints would be verified. As complaints of misuse received on the he open authorisation letters, which were given earlier,decided to give separate authorisation letter. In this matter, after making necessary, studies, transparency will be applied, he told. He has been attending almost all cultural activities of Indian community. At, this moment, he told he is extending his gratitude to all.
He expressed his thanks to the Riyadh Indian media activists, that Indian embassy could strongly involve in the activities of Indian community, through the social media and especially twitter. He expressed his thanks to the Indian media activists for this.
He also told during his service, the visits of Indian Prime mlMinister, Foreign Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj, and the Janadhriya festival, where he participated with the Indian guest honor,, strong involvement in amnesty duration, all have given him very good satisfaction during his period. He likes the the culture and people here in Saudi. If he gets one opportunity to serve here, he will come back to Saudi, he told. The media also witness, that there no such an official, who interacted with media upto this much extend. In a function, with the media personnel, the Riyadh Media Forum President Ubaid Edavanna and colleagues, handed over a gift to him.
