ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാനി സംഗീതജ്ഞന്‍ പണ്ഡിത് ജസ്‌രാജ് യുഎസില്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു

വാഷിംഗ്ടണ്‍: പ്രശസ്ത ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാനി സംഗീതജ്ഞൻ പണ്ഡിത് ജസ്‌രാജ് (90) അന്തരിച്ചു. യുഎസിലെ ന്യൂജേഴ്സിയിലെ വസതിയിലായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം. പദ്മശ്രീ, പദ്മഭൂഷൻ, പദ്മവിഭൂഷൻ എന്നീ ബഹുമതികൾ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മകള്‍ ദുര്‍ഗാ ജസ്‌രാജാണ് മരണ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചത്.

ഹരിയാണയിലെ ഹിസാറില്‍ 1930-ലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജനനം. പിതാവ് മോതി രാംജിയില്‍നിന്നാണ് സംഗീത പഠനം തുടങ്ങിയത്.  ജുഗല്‍ബന്ദി സംഗീതത്തിന് നിരവധി സംഭാവനകള്‍ നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പണ്ഡിറ്റ് ജസ്‌രാജ് മേവാതി ഘരാനയിലെ അതുല്യ ഗായകനാണ്. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി, രാഷ്ട്രപതി രാംനാഥ് കോവിന്ദ് തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ അനുശോചിച്ചു.
